Prayer Support - Be a partner with us

At LICC, we recognise the importance of prayer as the foundation of our ministry. As a team, we meet every morning to pray for the vision of LICC, for the work we are involved in, for our supporters and for each other. Do please join us in praying that God will guide and strengthen us for the work he has called us to do.

• For the ongoing work with a number of churches and directly with people on the front line of work.

Forthcoming Events

We would value prayer for our Events, which offer an opportunity to share and practice the vision of LICC with a variety of people. Please pray that these events are well attended by people who are inspired to change the way they think about God and the way they live their lives.

Executive Toolbox is taking place for the first time this year with Module 4 in November. Please pray for the teaching team as they develop and deliver new material. Pray that all 36 executives attending find that their lives and their places of work are transformed by God's work through the course.

Imagine Team

We are publishing a book, Imagine Church, outlining the learning from the 3 year pilot programme, due out in February 2012. Please pray for its production and that those who read it will find it inspirational, life-changing and church-changing.

We are also launching a small group resources with film clips and discussion material to encourage individuals and churches on the whole-life discipleship journey. Please pray for its production, distribution and impact.

Work Forum

Praise God for the support that we have already received to develop this crucial project and pray for the Lord's provision to reach our target budget.

As we build on the work that we have been doing to support Christians at work, pray that the Work Forum will be instrumental in enabling Christians to have an impact in their workplace, especially those who starting out in work. And pray that churches will grasp how they can envision and equip their people to make a difference at work.

Recruitment

We are currently advertising for a number of vacancies in our team. Please do pray for this intensive recruitment phase that the right people will be guided to apply for these roles and that we will discern who will be God's choice for this moment in the history of LICC.
