Parties and social events

It's party time for Christians in London! (And about time too!)
Tired of seeing the same faces week in, week out at church?
Here's the answer and it's fantastic (although I might be slightly biased as I am the party organiser):
London Christians is a new organisation that holds parties and social events to enable Christians in London and the home counties to widen their social circle.
The amazing (that bias is coming out again...)launch party will be held on Friday 28th April at the Holiday Inn's Precinct Bar in South Kensington.
There will be live music from a brilliant (oops) acoustic duo that play the likes of Coldplay and U2, a fully licensed bar (gulp) and of course, the chance to meet loads of other Christians! And all this costs - wait for it - just a fiver!
All tickets must be booked in advance though, so please immediately visit: www.londonchristians.co.uk
No excuses will be acceptable.
(Even John Pantry like the sound of it when he interviewed me about London Christians on his breakfast show on Premier. What's more, Ann Widdecome has indicated that she may come to a future event as our special guest...Watch this space! Or rather, keep an eye on www.londonchristians.co.uk
Thanks for reading thus far - now get booking! :)

Don't mean to find fault, but aren't we Christians supposed to out there in the world building relationship with people so that we can show the love of our Lord to a hurting world?

Isn't this more like creating an alternate culture for Christians when we ought to be pervading and diffusing into every culture?

Just sounding out my thoughts...

Christians behaving badly

It has come to my attention that despite the fact that the London Christians launch party sold out, some people from this site did not buy a measly £5 ticket...
Please note, this behaviour is unacceptable.
Besides, you missed a great night.
Log on to www.LondonChristians.co.uk to read the feedback from our last party and see some pictures.
You may then want to spend some time in quiet reflection at the error of your ways.
When you have repented, you will receive forgiveness.
We are Christians after all, and quite frankly, we don't have much choice in the matter.
You will then have the opportunity to make earthly amends by buying a ticket for our next party on Friday 19th May.
The cost remains just £5.
Are we good to you or what?

Wanna come to a World Cup party and watch the footie with a bunch of other single Christians? Thought you might.
London Christians has an exclusive venue to watch the England v Sweden match on 20th June, plus as always there will be plenty of opportunities to socialise and meet new people, both before and after the match. Last orders at midnight, so plenty of time to celebrate England's victory ;)
More details on www.LondonChristians.co.uk where you can also see some pix and read the feedback from our previous sell-out parties!
See you on the 20th June!

I am familiar with this technique, having access to important events tickets is really difficult for some of us, that's why I think buying online tickets is a fair chance for everybody.
