site guide
Welcome to the Connecting with Culture (CWC) mini-site. We hope it's self-explanatory and easy to navigate; however, you may find this overview helpful, in terms of what you can find and where you will find it.
If you'd like to read more about the purpose of this site, please visit the about page.
the home page
Here you'll find the Connecting articles. These are part of LICC's weekly email service. You can find out more about them here.
The title and first pagaragraph of the most recent Connecting is shown first, followed by previous editions in date order. To read the full article, click on its title or the read more link provided below the text.
Only seven CWCs are listed on the front page; however, earlier listings can be found on the consecutive pages by using the links at the bottom of the page. Refer to the image below.

By browsing through the pages of this virtual booklet, you can access all the Connecting with Culture articles that are available on the site.
additional resources
If an article has stimulated your thinking, then make use of the additional resources - such as related web-links, book references, group work questions, and so on.
These resources are at the foot of each article. We haven't provided them for all our past articles - they start in June 2004, and will continue from here.
having your say
You can have your say in two different ways. First, you can respond to each week's article by clicking 'add new comment' at the foot of the page. See terms of use for matters of etiquette.
Then, if you want to take something further, head to the discussion forum. You've the chance to debate matters arising from articles, as well as more general issues.
signing up on this site
To take full advantage of the features that this site has to offer, we'd like you to sign-up.
