Engaging with Culture

Toolbox: Live Life Fruitfully

A five day course engaging with the Bible and contemporary culture. This course is designed for adult Christians who are eager to learn how to demonstrate in the whole of life that Christ is Lord of all.

LICC's Toolbox course is designed to enable to you to:

  • Understand the inhibiting impact of the sacred-secular divide on church life and Christian mission, and to develop a vision for whole-life discipleship
  • Develop a robust method for interpreting the Bible and earthing it in contemporary life
  • Develop skills in reading contemporary culture through a biblical lense, and in applying those skills to your own life context.

The course creatively combines interactive seminars, small group discussion, fieldtrips, participant presentations and projects, plus time for reflection to ensure that you have the opportunity to apply what you're learning to the situations and people you encounter in your everyday life.

Toolbox is not running in September 2013. To request information about the course when the next dates are released, please fill out our form.
