Engaging with Work

Introduction

Mark Greene introduces the workplace as a crucial context for mission and discipleship.

Work is a crucial activity that God created us to pursue - in communion with him, and in partnership with others. Indeed, one of work's main goals is to make God's world a better place for all God's creatures to flourish in - to his glory. And that applies whether our primary work is in the home, in a school, an office, a factory, a field or a church. Read the full introduction to engaging with work or watch the video

Workers

Whether you're struggling to survive at work, or want to understand more deeply your calling in the workplace, visit our "Workers" pages for resources and support on a wide range of practical, theological and spiritual issues we face in paid or unpaid work.

Leaders / Pastors

Most Christians spend less than 10 hours a week in directly church-linked activities - and 110 of their waking hours in activities outside of church. The "Leaders / Pastors" pages include resources, articles, and real-life examples to help you equip, support and encourage discipleship in your church during those 110 hours.
