Engaging with Work

Leaders / Pastors

Work. You do a lot of it. And so do all the people in your church – at home, at school in factories and offices and perhaps even fields – 9 to 5, 8 to 6, shifts or weekends – a whole gamut of different contexts and dynamics.

How then can you envision and support your people to see their work as what it is - a God-given opportunity to cooperate with him to make the world a better place, to minister to colleagues and clients, and to both show and share the Good News of Jesus the Carpenter-Redeemer?

Well, it is possible and it is being done. This site offers a wide range of resources not only to envision and equip your people but to help you do so in a way that won't distort your church's overall ministry but will, we hope, serve to create a community of people who not only live out their faith, whatever their work, but who also consistently support one another in their God-given mission in and through their work. And if you have stories and examples of your church at work in the workplace, please get in touch.
