It's a realistic but not pessimistic analysis of the state of the nation and the state of the church. He then goes on to propose a simple but radical way forward, focusing on two great biblical truths - the concern of the Creator-redeemer God for every aspect of our life and Jesus' mandate to make disciples not just converts.
