If you’ve been to the Imagine on the Road days, you will know that one of the issues that seems to really resonate with leaders are the implications of moving away from a classic pastoral care model to one that emphasises the call to equip one another for the missional cause that Christians call ‘ordinary life’.
It’s good when you find others expressing the same ideas in different ways but with the same urgency. Many will be aware of the great work that has happened in Sheffield over recent years. One of the leaders there, Paul Maconochie, has written a really helpful piece on the role of leadership in missional disciple-making communities.
