There’s an acronym that people sometimes use to describe the Bible: ‘Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth’. But what if the Bible was more than just that? What if the Bible was relevant for our everyday, ordinary lives, right here, right now?

Here at LICC, we believe that the Bible is there to equip us for discipleship in the everyday. We know that God cares about everything that we do, and will work through us in every situation. How can the Bible help us in that mission?

Our NEW Bible Evening events for young professionals offer a chance to spend time considering the power of Scripture for everyday life. With Antony Billington, LICC’s Head of Theology, we will be seeking answers to some of the basic questions of Bible handling: where do I start? How can I interpret it well? What does it have to say about the cultural issues of today?

Join us on April 26th for our first ‘Bible Matters’ event.
