Launched: Journeying Through Uni with God

Participant's Guide

Leader's Guide

Session Videos

A group study giving students a vision for whole-life discipleship at uni

Uni life is exhilarating. And exhausting.

3am fire alarms. Nights out. Libraries. Labs. Sport. Deadlines. Sometimes it’s hard to see God in all of this.

We can go through uni thinking there are two sides of life: the holy side – church, prayer meetings, mission weeks – and everything else.

Launched inspires a whole new perspective.

It gives students the understanding, the tools, and the confidence to live for Christ in every area of uni life. In the tough decisions, last-minute essays, and early lectures… God is at work.

Launched – a collaboration between LICC and Fusion – can be led by students or student workers and includes Bible study, discussion, activities, self-reflection, real-life stories, and prayer. These are delivered in a participant’s workbook and a digital leader’s guide, accompanied by session videos. Its three sessions are designed as regular gatherings during a single university term. Each session takes about 60 minutes.

Launched's three sessions cover:

01

God working through us right where we are

Recognise God's presence in, and purposes for, your everyday uni life: in your studies, in your hall, and among your friends.

02

A framework for living as disciples day-by-day

Think through the ways the ordinary things we do - and how we do them - allow God to work through us, using LICC’s 6M framework.

03

Seeing our degree subject’s place in God’s world

Connect your degree subject with God's creative and restorative purposes in the world.

Participant's Workbook

Each member in your Launched study group will need a participant’s workbook. They contain session outlines, discussion topics and questions, activities and fill-in charts, key summary points, prayers, and ‘Journeying On’ follow-up reading and reflections.
