Imagine Church Learning Hubs

Learning Hubs are a fantastic opportunity for up to 15 churches to journey together over the course of a year.

They meet up three times with ‘homework’, accountability, and support in between. This creates a space for church leaders to explore ways to create and sustain their own whole-life disciple-making community. It’s a chance to share resources, learn from each other, try things out, and reflect.

Learning Hubs will be of particular interest to those with responsibility for running denominational or network training events, or who are responsible for a group of churches. They’re a great next step after a Training Day or after using the ideas to help you get started.

The three days look like this:

Day 1 – Preaching and leading worship for the Frontline

Discover how the frontline lens refocuses and re-imagines the gathered practices of preaching and worship-leading, preparing the people of God to live fruitful lives when scattered during the week.

Day 2 – Developing healthy relationships for the Frontline

This day uses the frontline lens to refocus mission. It will help a church identify strategies for mission and discipleship on people’s everyday frontlines. This day includes a session for small group leaders.

Day 3 – Encouraging vocation on the Frontline

Explore the world of work (paid and unpaid) through the lens of vocation, and develop a robust theology of work that will help the people of God see their work as endowed with purpose and meaning. Includes ideas for discipling and commissioning people for the workplace.

“The beauty of what LICC do is that it has a deep impact on many more people than those with whom they work directly, as each disciple equipped will in turn equip and support others.”
Rachel, Bishop of Gloucester
