Trusting God Prayer Wall

We hope you’re enjoying the Trusting God Prayer Journey. Welcome to the prayer wall!

It’s for all of us who are journeying together over these 40 days. It’s the place to comment and share encouragement for others: perhaps answers to prayer, or stories of how you’ve found praying in this way. If you prefer to share via email, you can email [email protected].

  1. I put my trust in God every time I get up that he will guide me through my day.

  2. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3 vs5-6

  3. We are trusting the Lord for our future as we call on His name to direct our paths.

  4. I am at that fulcrum moment when running on a seesaw when not sure if it’s going to go down and bounce me off or can I stay steadfast to the end.
But I do trust that God has my back in this so I let go of my fears anxiety and worry and embrace basking in the flow of his love. He has this.

  5. “But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him. They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit”. (Jeremiah 17:7-8).

  6. The last 4 years of my life have been made up of one new experience after another. Each one was what seemed a gigantic challenge. Each time I have faced a challenge I have had to trust God to carry me through. He has never let me down. This month I face yet another challenge; I trust Him to uphold me through this one as well. 7. Before Christmas I went into hospital for an operation. I came home, but got a blood clot in my leg and had to go in for an emergency operation to save that leg.
As I am recovering I have sensed that God is doing something far greater in my life than healing my leg. He keeps making his presence known to bless me in ways beyond my control.

  8. Do not be afraid of anything for I am with you always. Josh 1 v 9. God has proved this verse so many times since I retired. This month in particular we appeared to be very short of money but when we did our monthly shop it came to more than £100 less than normal. We have bought exactly the same things as every other month so a real miracle. God has done this so many times when we have been short of money thst I know I can trust him in all circumstances.

  9. Trust….
A big word with only five letters. Trust is gained from people who are steadfast and don’t let you down.
    What a task!
We can’t always be there for one another. But God is always there for you and will never let you down. He guides, provides and loves us, individually.
    God is Love!

  10. Learning to let God fill the gaps and the silence, even when it feels scary.

    By Liz  -  14 Feb 2018
  11. I like the 5 Cs! Wouldn’t capability be a better word than competence? I think of “capable” as being one up on “competent”.

  12. Hello from Northwest Ohio. A friend from Western New York and I are doing this journey together. Thank you Bev Shepherd for such stimulating prompts!

Going through the 5 Cs, I see that my trust is varied. For instance, I trust God’s communication in certain ways because I’ve been in the habit of having morning time with God for many years, and God has communicated with me consistently. That daily communication has strengthened my core faith in my challenging secular work place. However, I realize that I have big blank areas of trust about specific aspects about work and also about money that don’t show up that much in my morning times as they do throughout the day.

Also, I realize I never really think about God’s “covenant” at all, much less about trusting it. I can describe it theologically, but the concept has had no experiential reality in my devotional or general life. I really have to reach to respond to the “covenant” prayer prompts.

This Trust Journey is challenging me and prompting new explorations of my relationship with God!

  13. Please pray for me. I am facing many difficulties in my life and I desperately need God’s guidance. Everything has been going wrong and I feel helpless. Please pray. Thank you.

    By Melanie  -  4 Aug 2018
  14. Please pray for me, that I will continue to trust God, no matter what the future holds. God, please help me to know deep in my heart that You are always with me, You will never leave me. Thank You

  15. Pray For The Suffering.

    We’ll pray for the
    Sick and suffering
    Today and I’ll light
    A candle for them
    Every night and with
    The Lord’s guiding light
He’ll keep us all save and
    Warm forever in life.
