Connecting with Culture
It’s been said that culture is ‘what we make of the world’, but what does that look like as Christians? How can we begin conversations about what’s going on around us, and model healthy Christian engagement? Connecting with Culture is sent out every Friday and aims to wrestle with these questions and equip us as we engage with the world in which we live.
Our interests range wide – from the power of advertising to major political developments to celebrity deaths. As we reflect and ask questions, we’re looking for what we can learn and celebrate in culture. We also consider what questions we should be asking, and seek to show how the gospel really is applicable to every single area of life.
Written by a team of authors who tackle their subject matter with a refreshing variety of perspectives and expertise, these pieces offer a simple thought on something relevant to our time. We don’t want to conform to the pattern of this world, but instead be transformed by the renewing of our minds (Romans 12:2), and Connecting with Culture aims to help us with that.
Wherever you are, and whatever your situation, we hope you’ll find these pieces thought-provoking, informative, and maybe even a little bit life changing. So, have a browse, sign up to receive our weekly emails, and get involved in the discussion.
